TRASH COLLECTION DAYS​

BIW's regular trash collection day is Tuesday, with recycling picked up every other Tuesday. Big trash/bulky waste pickup day is the first Wednesday of the month. Check the OKC website for holiday rescheduling and other news.

LOCAL SCHOOLS​

Belle Isle West is in the Oklahoma City Public School District. Our neighborhood public schools are West Nichols Hills Elementary, John Marshall Middle School and John Marshall High School, but nearby we also have the award-winning Belle Isle Enterprise Middle School and Nichols Hills Elementary, as well as Classen School of Advanced Studies and the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics.

In Belle Isle West, we LOVE our pets! If you'd like to adopt a pet, check out the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter. Dozens of dogs and cats and small animals are available for adoption every day. We also have many private organizations that adopt animals, so check out Petfinder.com if you're looking for something specific.

If you've lost or found a pet, contact the shelter--it's the best place to start.
